Thought of the Week

Love all, trust a few and do wrong to none – W. Shakespeare

13th March 2017

Dear Parent,

This morning’s assembly was focused on making the right choices and, if we see something we believe is not right, ensuring we tell someone who can help.

Branwood’s Netball Team

I am pleased to say that our netball team won yet another game last week. Well done to Mrs Jones and all the players!  I would also like to thank those parents who came to watch and show support.

Pearson Teacher Awards 2017

The Teaching Awards offer everyone the opportunity to say “thank you” to the teacher who has helped them most.  Anyone can take part, children, students, parents, grandparents and colleagues can all go online and say thank you.  In return, Pearson will send a thank you card to each and every person or team of people who is thanked. Every “thank you” then becomes a nomination for a Teaching Award.

If you would like to nominate a teacher or teaching assistant please use the following link,

Bolton School

Form 5 spent a great morning at Bolton on Friday 10th March – they came back very excited about Maths and German!

In the evening we were pleased to welcome Dr Mullins and Mrs Hincks who spoke to parents in upper school about Bolton School, all it offers and answered questions. We felt it was very worthwhile and hope that parents left feeling more informed.

Form 6 – Patterdale Visit

The pupils in Form 6 are very excited about their visit to Patterdale this week and looking forward to all the activities ahead of them.

We will let parents know when they have arrived and do our best to keep you informed during their visit.

Due to this we have moved staff around to cover classes while some staff are with Form 6.

It is nice to see the weather improving and hope everyone has a great week!

Kind regards,

Mrs Follett
