19th June 2017

Dear Parents,

As you can imagine last week was very busy for all the staff and children with revision week and Ofsted together! We managed to make it to Friday with a smile on our faces and would like to thank everybody for their support.

The inspectors commented on how amazing our pupils are and we’re delighted with the amount of parent view / text responses. The children, as always, were polite, hard-working and fully engaged with the inspectors when they spoke to them. The inspectors also commented on their astonishment regarding the high level of intellect of our pupils, which as a Headmistress makes me so proud of each and every child!

We rounded the week off with our first ever ‘Doughnuts with Dads’ assembly which was fantastic! I was delighted to see so many fantastic male role models in school for the children…many of which were there supporting their own child(ren) and their friends. Thank you so much to those men who gave up their time to come into school and make it such a lovely event.

We will definitely do this again and make the odd change to make it even bigger and better!

We came into school this week with our focus on internal examinations and know that the children will work extremely hard.

Summer Fair – Saturday 24th June – 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm

The members of the PTA are working hard to finalise and ensure that our Summer Fair is a great success, so please save the date. We are looking forward to seeing the school community come together at such a positive event!
