Thought of the Week
Spring is nature’s way of saying ‘Let’s Party’.
20th March 2017
I would love to say that the weather matched our thought of the week! Instead we look forward to seeing the weather improve and to the variety of outdoor activities we enjoy as a result!
Form 6 – Patterdale Trip
On Friday 17th March, Form 6 pupils arrived safely back from their adventures at Patterdale. On speaking to them, they thoroughly enjoyed it and had a fantastic time. I would like to thank Miss Power and Mr Whittell for their support in accompanying the pupils and looking after them so well.
Miss Power commented that, “the children were amazing and did us all proud!”
Form 6 Examination Results
We are delighted to share the achievements of our Form 6 pupils in their entrance to Grammar and Independent Schools – on the reverse of the sheet. They have worked really hard and the results are fantastic! Well done to all of our Form 6 pupils and parents.
Form 2 – Owl Experience
On Monday 13th March, Form 2 were able to look at, hold and discuss all things related to owls. They had a great afternoon and are producing some great work based upon our feathered friends.
We have been working towards developing our KG1 playground for some time and we can announce that it is having a ‘make-over’ during the Easter holiday. The children will come back to things such as,
- A roadway to drive their cars on
- A pirate island for role play
- A mud-kitchen
- A sand / water play area
- A static wooden tractor
The staff are excited as it will be used for free-play and curriculum targets. We will put photographs on our social media for people to see once it’s complete.
Have a good week!
