Mrs Hague

Form Six Teacher

B.Ed. (Hons)

What led you to be a teacher?

I loved school – everything about it! My teachers, the sport, the drama and the social aspect. I idolised three of my teachers and they inspired me to do well and go into, what I feel is, the most rewarding profession.

What’s the best part of your job?

The children in my care and seeing them grow in confidence and stature.

If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be doing now?

Working in the theatre.

What’s your most memorable moment as a teacher?

When a young lady who had learning difficulties won the Top Drama scholarship to a very prestigious private boarding school (and she is still in touch now!).

How would you like to be remembered by your pupils?

As a firm but fun teacher who genuinely cared about them.

What surprises you about Branwood?

The driven and dynamic leadership and how it inspires us to greatness!

What makes you proud of Branwood?

The way that everyone cares and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure success.

If you had one word to sum up life at Branwood, what would it be?

Family.
