Mr Sullivan

Form Five Teacher

BA (Hons), PGCE, Dip HE, PGCert (SEN)

What led you to be a teacher?

Growing up, I had some incredible teachers who taught me the love of learning, and I wanted to pay that ‘forwards’.

What’s the best part of your job?

I’m privileged to work with children and adults here at Branwood, who are as talented, resilient and aspiring as they are caring.

If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be doing now?

I’d love to have been an astronaut or an astronomer.

What’s your most memorable moment as a teacher?

Speaking live to Tim Peake – aboard the International Space Station – with a group of KS2 children.

How would you like to be remembered by your pupils?

As someone who inspired them, and who always believed in them.

What surprises you about Branwood?

The impeccable manners that children consistently display across the school never ceases to amaze me.

What makes you proud of Branwood?

The staff and children always give their all, and do it with a smile on their faces.

If you had one word to sum up life at Branwood, what would it be?
