Communicating with you is an important part of what we do, making sure you get the correct information about activities, events and school news that really matters is something we care about.

The school now uses ParentMail, a service used by over 6,000 schools, nurseries and children’s clubs to communicate to parents.

We’d like to encourage all parents to download the APP as there are a number of benefits both to you and the school:

  • You don’t need to login to pick up messages or attachments when you use the App.
  • The App stores all the messages we send you in one place.
  • Every message sent arrives as an instant alert on your mobile.
  • You help save us money!

You can download the App for free from:

Preschool care is available free of charge from 8.00am until 8.30am. Children are able to go their individual classrooms.

The aftercare service runs from 3.00pm until 5.45pm and is available to pre-book at £7.50 per session. Limited drop-in sessions are available daily and these can be booked by calling the school office before 2.30pm on the day. These sessions are invoiced weekly in arrears and are charged at £8.50 per session. Children will automatically be transferred to aftercare if they are not collected promptly at the end of their school day, whether this is after class or following extra-curricular sessions. Your child will be marked onto the aftercare register, and parents will be invoiced at a flat rate of £8.50 per session.

The collection deadlines are as follows:

  • KG1 – 3.00pm
  • KG2 – 3.05pm
  • Form 1 – 3.10pm
  • Form 2 – 3.15pm
  • Form 3 – 3.15pm
  • Form 4 – 3.20pm
  • Form 5 – 3.25pm
  • Form 6 – 3.30pm

Pre-Booked aftercare charges are payable termly in advance and an invoice will be sent in July, December and March. No refunds will be given for absences.

The school does have a policy of issuing late collection charges for parents who arrive after 5.45pm to collect their children from aftercare. Unfortunately, due to an increasing number of occurrences, this policy will be enforced, £5 will be charged for each child the first 10 minutes (or part thereof) after 5.45pm. £10 will be charged for the second 10 minutes (or part thereof). £1 per minute will be charged after 6.05pm.

If you have any further questions relating to aftercare, please do not hesitate to contact the school’s Bursar.

During school holidays we operate holiday cover.

The Sports Courses at Branwood are organised by Premier Education, and are tailored specifically to children aged 5 plus. Their multi sports courses are designed with fun and enjoyment in mind, and the children will experience a range of sports and activities which they may never have played before. The beauty of this lies in the un-expectancy and excitement of the unknown.

Premier Education aims to introduce the children to new sports but also play a lot of the ones they already love, like Dodgeball! They also like to add culture and education to their camps, although it’s half term or the summer holidays there is still the opportunity to learn, with a fun and competitive approach. Please see Premier Education for more information.

Details about each club, times, cost and booking can be found by clicking the links above.
