I am in the enviable position to say I enjoy going to work every day as, without fail, I am met with polite, bright eyed and excited young people who are desperate to say hello and chat about something important to them.
Branwood is indeed an exceptional educational establishment; ever since our founding in 1928 we have maintained an enviable reputation for preparing our children both for entrance to the finest secondary schools in the region as well as for lifelong success and fulfilment.
When I was first welcomed to Branwood School I was immediately greeted by a warm and friendly environment where everyone smiled. Now, when I show visitors around I explain that they will be greeted with a friendly atmosphere where they will see happy children, working hard. When those visitors leave it’s nice to hear them reiterate my comment. It’s clear to everyone, even Ofsted, to see that there is a busy, healthy excitement about learning and pupils with clear focus and pride in their achievements.
The commitment of everyone here at Branwood is clear and there is a collective aim to achieve. Continued success is integral to everyone associated with Branwood School.
As a Headmistress I am adamant that each child has the right to the best personalised education available and here, at Branwood, that is what is achieved each and every day – life at Branwood is more than an education!
