The Beehive

Branwood School has an excellent aftercare service, The Beehive, which is available for all children attending our school from KG1 through to Form 6. The service is run and staffed by dedicated members of staff who the children are already familiar with as they have other roles within school.

The younger children are taken to The Beehive by a staff member and a register is taken daily.

The service is available from 3.00pm to 6.00pm on school days. The children will be given ‘Bees Teas’ which will be varied, interesting and healthy.

While attending The Beehive the children are encouraged to complete any homework and the staff will support them if needed.

There are planned daily activities including crafts, sports and games which are done on a rotation basis. There is also ample opportunity for free play and even the chance to chill and watch a DVD.

The sessions can be pre-booked for a term in advance at a discounted rate or alternatively there are daily drop-in slots. These daily slots can be secured by calling the school office before 2.30pm. The drop-in slots are then invoiced directly the following week.

If you would like more information or have any questions please contact the school office.

Please note that late charges will apply in accordance with our published rates for any children who are late being collected.
