KG2 have enjoyed collecting leaves as part of their topic on Autumn this term. Inspired by the artist Guiseppi Arcimboldo’s paintings, they created their own leaf faces, using the leaves they had collected.

The children have enjoyed learning all about the Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights. One of the children spoke about their experiences celebrating at home and shared some fabulous pictures kindly sent in by their parents. The children were inspired by this ‘festival of lights’ and created firework pictures and poems.

On the 11th November at 11.00am, we all stood proudly with the whole school, wearing our poppies during a two minute silence thinking about those who have served in the armed forces.
