This half term saw the return of Branwood’s debate club. Pupils from Year 5 and 6 are invited to attend after school on Friday’s. The children are given a statement to debate and give their opinions of whether they agree, disagree or a combination of both. The children are also welcome to raise their own statements for us to debate. Some ideas of what has been debated so far are:

• School uniform should be banned
• Children should not be allowed to eat junk food
• Everyone should have the same level of seating on an aeroplane.

Plus many more. We are really looking forward to listening to everyone’s views over the next half term.
