It’s hard to believe that we are at the end of the first half-term. Form 1 are now into the swing of their new routines and are amazing us daily with the improvements they are making in their work. This week we would like to put the spotlight on their topic homework. Each weekend they choose a task to do linked to our Dinosaurs topic and the quality of the work they produce is outstanding. We can see the time, effort and personal pride that goes into each piece.

 

In the classroom, they had great fun during our poetry topic on ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?’ They performed the poem and created their own versions. We ended the topic with making our own Brown Bear Toast – yum! There were lots of chocolatey faces! In maths, we were studying capacity and got into the spooky mood by measuring liquids to create our own potions.
