What a fantastic end to the first half term of KG2. The children have continued to work hard and try their best despite being tired.

During our literacy sessions we have been reading ‘Bears in the night’ and we have enjoyed concentrating on prepositions and light and dark. We went on a ‘preposition’ walk, concentrating on what we can go around, or up, or out of. It was such fun, especially when we walked in front of Mrs Dickinson and behind the tree. We also discussed light and dark, drawing some super pictures, showing that we have good understanding of the concept.

During our maths lessons, we focused on counting this week and we are becoming experts now.

The children have enjoyed looking at their Guiseppi Arcimboldo leaf face pictures on display. I am sure you will agree what super stars we have in our class.
